Il DM-4800 è l'ultimo membro della serie di mixer digitali DM della Tascam. Con 64 canali, 24 bus e 12 aux è attualmente una delle più potenti console di mixaggio portatili digitali mai viste. Allo stesso tempo offre molte comodità: la sezione chiamata full-channel, ad esempio, consente a tutti i parametri di canale, come i processori dinamici, la regolazione degli EQ, il livello degli aux ed il panning, di essere regolati con controlli dedicati.
